The Ad, Which Merely Stated, "Abortion Hurts Women, There Is Hope & Healing At The Alpha Center" Was Labeled Political And Some Believed Had No Place In The Directory. Some Have Questioned If The Ad Was Political Or Not And That Can And Was Debated!
You Don't Have To Look Too Hard To Find Other Politically Charged Lapses In School Board Judgment Or Educational Administrators, If You Want To! A Politically Motivated Endorsement Of A Presidential Candidate, Who Is Mr. Pro Abortion, Even Mr. Partial Birth Abortion, Could Ignite Another Firestorm And Deem An Apology. How About A Collection Of Photos In A Sioux Falls Public High School's Online Newspaper! This Collection May Have Begun As A News Item, But Now, Since It Has Been On The Web Page For Over Three Months, The 18 Large Photos Have Become An Indirect Political Endorsement Of Barack Obama. My Question Is: "So For The Next Three Months, Equal Time, Will There Be 18 Large Photos Of Pro Life Candidate, John McCain On The Lincoln High School Statesman's Online Newspaper?"

Last Spring, one of our public high schools had students running through the hallways, and entering classrooms shouting OBAMA for president. All the rhetoric had begun at high school level. When McCain was mentioned the young people immediately bashed President Bush. We wondered if the high schools were going to create an environment that was fair and balanced to promote both presidential candidates. We were told that the liberals within the schools out shouted the others. The school district should make an announcement as to endorsement of any one candidate and make every student or teacher who could vote comfortable in the public school setting. Obama is NOT the only candidate on the upcoming ballot. He probably isn't the American people's choice. OBAMANATION
