8th Circuit Court Of Appeals Apparently Out To Lunch So Says "The New England Journal Of Medicine"
Sure, I Mean, You Have To Be Kidding... This Law Is Going To Threaten "Physician-Patient" Relationships! You Want Me To Believe That The Abortionist Who Sees His/Her Patient In The Few Minutes Before The Abortion Is Going To Have A "Physician-Patient" Relationship Damaged? I Spend More Time With My Dog's Veterinarian Than An Abortionist Spends With The Victim, I Mean Patient!
I Continue To Be Amazed At How Really Smart People Can Make Such ST_ _ _ D Statements!
Take A Look At The Article In The "New England Journal Of Medicine"
South Dakota's Abortion Script — Threatening the Physician–Patient Relationship (The New England Journal Of Medicine)
Zita Lazzarini, J.D., M.P.H.
"Under a law that went into effect in July, physicians in South Dakota must tell any woman seeking an abortion that she is terminating the life of "a whole, separate, unique, living human being" with whom she has an "existing relationship," that her relationship "enjoys protection under the United States Constitution and under the laws of South Dakota," and that abortion terminates that relationship along with "her existing constitutional rights with regards to that relationship."1

Pearl Harbor's Mitsuo Fuchida Gives Us Hope For Impossible People!
In The Midst Of The Horror and Devastation Of Pearl Harbor An Incredible Miracle Happened In The Life Of The Japanese Pilot Who Shouted The War Cry, "Tora! Tora! Tora!"
The Book, "From Pearl Harbor To Calvary Written" By Mitsuo Fuchida....Sites the incredible story of the lead pilot of the December 7, 1941, raid on Pearl Harbor. Fuchida was the one who shouted the war cry, "Tora, Tora, Tora!" Mitsuo Fuchida fought the United States throughout WWII and was intimately involved in the planning and leadership of the Japanese war effort as flight commander and later as a senior operations officer. After the war, Fuchida was a defeated warrior in occupied Japan, farming to meet the needs of his family. In 1950, Fuchida miraculously came to know Jesus Christ as Saviour through a tract handed to him while exiting a train in Tokyo. The tract was entitled, "I Was a Prisoner of Japan," written by Jacob DeShazer who was one of the famous Doolittle Raiders. Jacob DeShazer trusted Christ as his Saviour while held captive by Japan for 40 months.. Mitsuo Fuchida faithfully served Jesus Christ as an evangelist until his death in 1976. The Book "From Pearl Harbor to Calvary" is Fuchida's testimony of his salvation.

Thanks Pastor Wade Mobley - Abortion...South Dakota
Pastor Wade Mobley • Living Word Free Lutheran Church • December 1, 2008
If your child asks you, "Daddy, can I kill it?" you dare not answer until you know what "it" is.
One pivotal question continues to receive little attention in the abortion debate: Just what is it that we are aborting?
We often hear, "No one knows when life begins." But even if this was correct, it does nothing to advance the argument in favor of abortion rights. If we don't know what "it" is, we must protect "it."
So what is the object of abortion? Let's consider the facts:
While philosophical debates continue, modern embryology overwhelmingly affirms that biological life begins at conception - the time when an organism with completely unique DNA arises from the union of sperm and oocyte (Moore and Persaud, "The Developing Human," page 310; Nilsson and Hamberger, "A Child is Born," page 86; Rugh and Shettles, "From Conception to Birth," page 217).
Frequently, though, when someone asks, "When does life begin?" the person is not referring to biological life but to some definition of legal and moral life. Our indistinct language causes us to talk past each other and makes it appear that we have fundamentally different convictions about who possesses basic rights.
For example, a majority of voters support current abortion law, but most people oppose some abortions protected under that law such as:
Having an abortion because you are pregnant with a girl and would prefer a boy.
Having an abortion because you would prefer certain physical traits your fetus doesn't have.
Secondary birth control (multiple or repeated abortions).
Late-term abortion (currently legal for broad reasons even after the baby could survive outside the womb).
For the sake of argument, I will assume that everyone reading this letter opposes the killing of just-born infants, agreeing that newborns possess all the legal and moral rights of adults (with the exception of rights reserved for the majority such as voting and contractual obligations). There are four differences between the unborn and the newborn:
Size: We protect the basic rights of small people just the same as bigger people.
Level of development: An elderly human is a human, an adult human is human, a child human is human, a newborn human is human, and an unborn human is human. We protect human rights independently from stage of development.
Environment: Our human rights are unaffected by our changes of location.
Dependency: A toddler who falls into a pool in your presence is completely dependent on one person - you - for his or her survival. Yet you would deem that child worthy of rescue.
These differences are insignificant, and apart from these differences, a newborn and an unborn child are identical beings.
Pictures of unborn children and those who have been aborted make this painfully evident. You can find them at www.abort73.com.
All people should reply with compassion to those in difficult - even tragic - circumstances. Yet the tragic circumstances of a child's conception should not consign that precious unborn human person to death.
As Steve Wagner, author of "Common Ground Without Compromise," says: If the unborn is growing, it is alive. If it has human parents, it is human. And human life is precious, isn't it?

Cure For Mid Life Crisis!
Now I have a $500,000.00 home, a $45,000.00 car, nice big bed and plasma screen TV, but I'm sleeping with a 65-year-old woman. It seems to me you're not holding up your side of things.'
My wife is a very reasonable woman. She told me to go out and find a hot 25-year-old gal, and she would make sure I would once again be living in a cheap apartment, driving a cheap car, sleeping on a sofa bed and watching a 10-inch black and white TV.
Aren't older women great! They really know how to solve a mid-life crisis...

Pro Abortion Catholics, You Have An Invite From The Unitarians!
"What I am about to write will undoubtedly cause a lot of hand wringing and a lot of underwear to be twisted into knots among “progressive” Catholics.
You CANNOT vote for Barack Obama and call your self a Roman Catholic. Period …… end of story.
The Catholic Church and abortion are mutually exclusive. Barack Obama, on the other hand, has never seen a piece of pro-legislation that he didn’t like. Well, actually, I might be wrong there. There may have been a piece of pro-abortion legislation that didn’t go far enough for his taste.
Therefore, the Catholic Church and Barack Obama are mutually exclusive.
If you would like to vote for Barack Obama, that is fine and is your right to do so.
But please do not bring scandal upon yourself by continuing to call yourself a Roman Catholic. You and Nancy Pelosi and Ted Kennedy and Joe Biden and the myriad of others had best go join some other New-Age, quasi”Christian” religion.
Go join the Unitarians or the latest “makes me feel good about myself’ cult; but do not insult me and others faithful to the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Magesterium by continuing to call yourselves Catholic.
Please remember that the Catholic Church is not a democracy. It is an institution that was initiated by Jesus Christ and is based upon His Eternal Truth. If you cannot accept that Truth fully and without reservation, you can call yourself whatever you’d like - but you’re not Catholic.
There’s no room for debate here - that’s just how it is."
The Solution For Abortion!
A worried woman went to her gynecologist and said:
'Doctor, I have a serious problem and desperately need your help!
My baby is not even 1 yr. old and I'm pregnant again. I don't want kids so close together.'
So the doctor said: 'Ok, and what do you want me to do?'
She said: 'I want you to end my pregnancy, and I'm counting on your help with this.'
The doctor thought for a little, and after some silence he said to the lady: 'I think I have a better solution for your problem. It's less dangerous for you too.'
She smiled, thinking that the doctor was going to accept her request.
Then he continued: 'You see, in order for you not to have to take care of 2 babies at the same time, let's kill the one in your arms. This way, you could rest some before the other one is born. If we're going to kill one of them, it doesn't matter which one it is. There would be no risk for your body if you chose the one in your arms.
The lady was horrified and said: 'No doctor! How terrible! It's a crime to kill a child!
'I agree', the doctor replied. 'But you seemed to be ok with it, so I thought maybe that was the best solution.' He smiled, realizing that he had made his point. He convinced the mom that there is no difference in killing a child that's already been born and one that's still in the womb. The crime is the same!

Pro Aborts Belittle Thinking, Reading, ProLife Children!
Abortion: Think for yourself
Jo Braun, PhD • Seattle • November 11, 2008
"To the children at whom Leslee Unruh pointed on Election Night 2008: You might grow up to share her pro-life viewpoint. You might grow up to believe in her brand of Christianity. You might grow up to be a Republican. Or you might not. In the meantime, I encourage you to do one thing: read! Read the books and magazines around your house that interest you. Then go to the public library and raid the children's and young adults sections. After you've maxed out the kids' stuff, ask a librarian to help you find more grownup novels and creative nonfiction, or browse around yourself. If a book is too difficult, don't torture yourself. Try a different one.Read authors with whom you agree and disagree. Read and ask, "What is this author trying to convince me of, and what's in it for him or her?" If your parents drag you to rallies or legislative sessions in Pierre, reading will save your sanity. Even if they've convinced you that you want to attend these rallies or a tiny Christian school or be home schooled, read. Read, and think for yourself. Trust me. I've been there. Leslee Unruh herself might even have pointed at me once."
My teenage children have chosen for themselves to be Pro life. I haven't pressured them into any political view but from their reading and inquiry have decided for themselves what to think and what to believe. I have brought them to discussions led by those favoring abortion just to have them hear the song and dance. As for millions, my children have seen the "smoke and mirrors" and are still unrelenting about LIFE for the unborn! My teenage daughter attended a rally sponsored by those who voted to keep abortion in South Dakota. She humbly gave her sympathies to Tiffany Campbell in the loss of her twin and also expressed genuine thrill in meeting Tiffany's young son. She came away from that rally believing more and more in the right of the unborn to live.
Let me share with you a story about my daughter, who took it upon herself to confront some pro choice pastors and put them in their place. A friend of mine described it in this manner...
"One of the pro-life pastors brought his teenage daughter who, at the end, stood to read some verses from Exodus. When she got to the part about "thou shalt not kill" she broke down crying and pleaded with the panel… "Why did you say that it is up to a woman and her God if she should get an abortion or not? Her God?! Are you referring to the Almighty God of the Bible? How can this go on? How can you sit there and say its okay to kill babies? How can pastors say its okay to kill babies?"
Pastor Marcia tried to gently reply "I bet it is hard for you to sit and listen to us. But you believe its a baby and not everyone does. If you don't see this as a life it changes a lot." This was the theme of the night - these pastors aren't sure what is in the womb and they dodged the question about how come, if we are so unsure, we don't err on the side of life?
The young lady's dad then told how years ago his wife was pregnant and they were told it was a Down-Syndrome baby and they chose to keep the baby anyway. And this girl was that baby (and she doesn't have Downs Syndrome) and that is why she is so passionate about abortion being murder.
I didn't say a word all night. And here's why… any of the four pro-life pastors in the room could have debated these folks sentence by sentence but what we had to say wouldn't have touched any ones heart. God used a teenage girl with a LIFE testimony to put these folks in the hot seat and send them home thinking how they as representatives of God could promote killing unborn children. Thank God for this young teenage girl - she gave the message the ministers should be giving." http://www.voicescarryblog.com/a-report-from-tonights-pastors-for-immoral-choices-meeting-at-augustana/

South Dakota Pro Life...Living Proof Of The "Wilberforce Spirit!"
No man fought harder to abolish slavery than William Wilberforce. A member of Parliament, he introduced antislavery measures year after year for 40 YEARS until he retired in 1825. On this day July 26, 1833, as he lay dying, word was brought him that the bill to outlaw slavery everywhere in the British empire had passed in Parliament. The dream for which he had struggled for decades was now within sight of fulfillment!
South Dakota Pro Life, What Will It Take???
A Friend, Isaac Milner had become a deep and evangelical Christian. He began to persuade Wilberforce to commit his life to Christ. Wilberforce had always thought himself a Christian. Now he saw that total commitment to Christ was needed. He struggled in anguish for several months. During that time he read Philip Doddridge's The Rise and Progress of Religion in the Soul. Here was a faith far deeper than anything he had known. Gradually he yielded.
Pro Life Christians In Government???
At once, after becoming a Christian, Wilberforce began to wonder if it was proper for him to hold a seat in government. Wilberforce was a friend of William Pitt (who became Prime Minister) and a member of Parliament, Wilberforce seemed assured of a bright political future. Pitt, wanting Wilberforce as an ally, urged him to remain.
Pro Life South Dakota Speak To The Pro Choice, Anything Could Happen!
Unsettled in his conscience, Wilberforce spoke to the rector John Newton. Newton, best remembered as the author of the hymn "Amazing Grace," had been converted while a blasphemous sailor and slaver. He counseled Wilberforce to remain in politics and champion good causes.
South Dakota Pro Life, What Does God Want???
Wilberforce decided it was what God wanted. He also felt he must tackle causes which would raise the standard of life and morals in England. The friends who gathered around him became known as the Clapham sect because most lived in the village of Clapham.
South Dakota Pro life, What Will History Say About Us???
Rarely in history have so many owed so much to so few. These dozen or so Clapham men and women not only fought against slavery but also against every sort of vice. Many were wealthy. They employed their worldly goods in behalf of godly causes. Education of the masses, support of Bible societies, private charity, protection of chimney sweeps, creation of Sunday Schools and orphanages--these and dozens of other causes received their attention. But it is the abolition of slavery which remains their greatest achievement.http://chi.gospelcom.net/DAILYF/2001/07/daily-07-26-2001.shtml

My name is Corbin and I have a story to tell you.
When I was just a little guy in my mommy's womb, my mom had an ultrasound. The ultrasound gave my mom and dad some news they didn’t expect to hear. The doctor told them that I was going to have downs syndrome, cystic fibrosis and some heart defects. The doctor told my mom that she could have an amniocentesis done to test for sure if I had these anomalies…and to help her decide “what to do with the baby.”
The doctor also told my mom that the amniocentesis had a slight risk of hurting me. My mom and dad talked it over, and they decided not to do the test. On the second ultrasound, it still showed that I had markers for downs syndrome, but none for cystic fibrosis. They did an echo cardiogram on my heart, when I was still in my mommy's tummy and the doctor couldn’t find anything wrong with my heart!! All the other ultrasounds still showed that I was going to have downs syndrome. My mom and dad didn’t care though, because they had their little boy. They were going to love me no matter what.
On July 3, 2007 I was born, and guess what, I am healthy and “normal.” After that first ultrasound, they could have given up, and aborted me because I wasn’t going to be perfect in the world's eyes. I’m so glad that they chose life. Would you have given up on me?

Campaign for Healthy Families Caught Encouraging Voter Fraud in Sioux Falls
Contact: Brandi Gruis, VoteYesForLife.com, 605-271-7581
SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota, October 25 /Christian Newswire/ -- Today, VoteYesForLife.com in South Dakota requested Attorney General Larry Long to open an investigation into voter fraud by the Campaign for Healthy Families.
VoteYesForLife.com has become aware of out-of-state people coming into South Dakota and registering to vote in our Election with no intention of remaining a resident of South Dakota. In fact, the spokesperson for the Campaign for Healthy Families, Chris Cassidy, is from San Francisco.
According to the South Dakota voter registration application, any person registering to vote in South Dakota must sign the following declaration:
* I declare, under penalty of perjury (2 years imprisonment and $4,000 fine), that: * I am a citizen of the United States ; * I actually live at and have no present intention of leaving the above address; * I will be 18 on or before the next election; * I have not been judged mentally incompetent; * I am not currently serving a sentence for a felony conviction which included imprisonment, served or suspended, in an adult penitentiary system. * I authorize cancellation of my previous registration as written below.
(South Dakota Voter Registration Application)
A transcript of the audio file clearly indicates evidence of voter fraud during a conversation between "Eduardo" and a man named Josh at the Campaign for Healthy Families headquarters in Sioux Falls earlier this week.
"Eduardo" and Josh discuss how it is that "South Dakota Campaign for Healthy Families" Spokesman Chris Cassidy is able to vote in South Dakota since he is also currently a resident of California, only here for the election, and plans to go home when the election is over. Josh, an employee of the "Campaign for Healthy Families," encouraged "Eduardo" that he could do the same. This admission is clearly a violation of point #3 (I actually live at and have no present intention of leaving the above address;) of the declaration that citizens sign when they register to vote in South Dakota . Below are links to the audio of this evidence and a transcript of the conversation.

Life or Death! Vote "Yes" On South Dakota Initiative 11!
Hi! My name is Jenna and I am sixteen years old.
Years ago when my mom was pregnant with me, a medical test indicated that I had Downs Syndrome. The doctor told my
parents that they could abort me since the test indicated that I had Downs. In other words, they would be giving me my death sentence. However, my parents refused to abort me and decided to continue the pregnancy to full term, even with the possibility that I might have an anomaly.
I am happy to report that I was born a healthy baby!!! While I was in elementary school, I won the school spelling bee and made it to the Argus Leader Spelling Bee. In middle school,
I again went to the Argus Leader Spelling Bee and placed in one of the top three positions! Over the last few years I have successfully competed in
academic quiz bowls.
I am so grateful that my
parents did not rely on the medical test results to
determine if I should live or die. I am thankful that my parents told the doctor that they would not be ending my life.
On November 4, please
remember my story and
Vote “YES” for LIFE on

Obama's Abortion Record
Terry G. Hutchison • Garretson • October 22, 2008
"South Dakota voters have a right to know the record of Sen. Barack Obama on abortion. Six years ago when he was in the Illinois state Senate, Obama was the only senator to speak against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, which protects babies born alive after a failed abortion. He opposes a ban on partial birth abortion and is in favor of allowing for the transporting of minor girls across state lines for abortions without parental notice or consent of a parent. His support of the Freedom of Choice Act would make any kind of abortion anywhere legal and override any state's rights. Is it any wonder Obama receives 100 percent approval from Planned Parenthood? Please consider this information when you go to vote."
Abortion Is Human Rights Issue
Shirley J. Vrooman • Sioux Falls • October 22, 2008
"The Group fighting Initiated Measure 11 plans to spend a million dollars. It sounds to me like there is a lot of money at stake in the abortion industry. This is not just a religious concern but a human rights and justice issue. The plain and simple fact is when you abort a baby, you are ending a life. If nothing else convinces you, think of in-vitro fertilization. Once the egg has been fertilized, there is life. All it needs is a nurturing, motherly environment, and it will grow. There are a lot of apparently good reasons why abortion sounds like a solution to a problem. But it's not a problem or burden. It is a life, and to destroy a human life is always wrong. This is why we are asking the people of South Dakota to vote on this issue again. Initiated Measure 11 provides for the exceptions the people asked for last time, so please vote yes for life."

The campaign’s legal team met with Sanford Hospital’s administration Tuesday. “We handled this the South Dakota way,” said Rory King, VoteYesForLife.com attorney. “We sat down at the table and had an honest discussion about Measure 11 and how its passage will allow Sanford to practice medicine the same way they always have. We did not make this political and we’re grateful that Sanford has seen that Measure 11 in fact does allow them to practice medicine the way they do at the present time.”

Just Another Distraction For Initiative 11 In South Dakota
Be Reminded That This Is Another Distraction From The Original Intent Of The Initiative!
Number 1... WE MUST REMEMBER IT IS FROM LAWYERS! The Sanford Lawyers, If They Could, Would Reduce Patient Numbers Down To Zero Just To Reduce Possible Lawsuits! In The Memo, They Exercise Extreme Caution And Verbalize Any Possible Effect That Initiative 11 Would Have On Their Institution!
Number 2... THE INTENT OF THE INITIATIVE? Not To Make Life Difficult For Sanford But To End Abortion Being Used For Birth Control And To Save The Lives Of 800 Unborn Babies In Suth Dakota.
Number 3... Sanford President and Chief Executive Officer Kelby Krabbenhoft described The Memo as an "unbiased and factual analysis," The Memo Has Become "Biased" As It Was Conviently Dropped Into The Hands Of The Opposition. They Will Use It As "Smoke And Mirrors" To Try To Dissuade The Voters On Initiative 11. "Factual" Impossible In The Hands Of The Opposition, They Will Spin It For Their Own Political Purposes!
Number 4... Krabbenhoft said, " The analysis wasn't intended to be released to the public" Kelby, This Makes The Public Question The Security Of Our Medical Records And The Hospital's Confidentiality.
Number 5... "Sanford has no intention of taking a stance on the initiative, Krabbenhoft said." Sorry Kelby, Your Lawyers Already Took A Stand And Did It For You. The Opposition To Initiative 11 Will Add Energy To The Statements In The Memo And Be The Mouthpiece For Your Hospital Lawyers!

Vote Yes On South Dakota Initiative 11!
Hissy Fit Over "Roe Vs. Wade"
Let's Suppose Roe v. Wade Were Overturned. What Would Happen? The Matter Would Simply Be Kicked Back To The States -- Where It Was Before 1973. Overturning Roe Would Not Abolish Abortion. It Would Just Mean That Abortion Would Be Legal In Some States And Illegal In Others.
It's Time To Stop The "Smoke And Mirrors!" It's Time To Stop Clouding The Playing Field With Accusations! Calling People "Liars", Slandering Individuals! Are You That Desperate? Apparently So!
Remember.... South Dakota Initiative 11 Was Indirectly Written By The Opposition! They Asked For Exceptions For Abortion For Rape, Incest And The Health Of The Mother And Those Reasonable Exceptions Have Been Added.

ACLU Against Saving Unborn Babies In South Dakota Yet Supports Gay Marriage In Connecticut
The Truth Is... The ACLU Never Supports The Rights Of The Unborn...Including South Dakota Iniative 11, Yet The ACLU Attacks The Institution Of Marriage Demonstrated By Being Overjoyed About Same Sex Marriage In Connecticut Just This Week!
From The ACLU....... BREAKING: Same-Sex Marriage Win in Connecticut!
at the end of the post -->This morning the Connecticut Supreme Court ruled that it’s unconstitutional for the state to deny same-sex couples the right to marry. Here’s the decision: www.aclu.org/lgbt/relationships/37127lgl20081010.html. Much more forthcoming!
The Ladies Over At www. Dakotawomen.blogspot.com Also Support Annihilating The Rights Of The Unborn (No On Initiative 11) And They Are Ecstatic And Are Like The ACLU In Supporting "LGBT Couples Having The Same Rights To Call Their Unions 'marriage' That Hetero Couples Have. Fantastic."
From http://www.%20dakotawomen.blogspot.com/ (http://dakotawomen.blogspot.com/2008/10/connecticut-court-legalizes-marriage.html

This Is A "Cut And Paste" From Their Website Before They
Delete It...
The Dakotawomen Post..."I'm excited to report that Connecticut's supreme court ruled that it's unconstitutional to deny couples the freedom to marry. As alerts fly into my inbox, news is sketchy. I do know it was a 4-3 decision, and that they've ruled that LGBT couples have the same rights to call their unions "marriage" that hetero couples have.Fantastic.In related news, Iowa's supreme court will be hearing arguments on their pending marriage case on December 9. Hold on to your hats. "

Come On Kate Vote "Yes!" The Exceptions Are In Place!
Two Years Ago (2006), You Voted "No On 6" Because Of The Lack Of Exceptions. In Your Photo, The Promo From 2006 Is Seen Where You Asked For "Rape, Incest, And Health Exceptions". Since You Asked For Them, The Exceptions Were Written Into South Dakota Initiated Measure 11.
In 2008, It Somehow Isn't A Surprise To Anyone To Find Out That You Are Still Voting "No" On South Dakota Initiated Measure 11. Kate, Since The Exceptions Are Included, On November 4th, Thousands Of South Dakotans, TRUE TO THEIR WORD, Will Be Voting "Yes" Because They Too, At Your Urging, Asked For The Exceptions In 2006 And They Are Included In "11" In 2008.
South Dakota Family Policy Council Supports Initiated Measure 11 With 500 Mile Bike RIde!
Standing for America's First Freedoms ~ Vote your Values
What will you do to end abortion in South Dakota?
Media Release – Please Forward
Contact Person:
Chris Hupke, 605-335-8100, or 605-413-6075
For Immediate Release
Sioux Falls – With just four weeks until Election Day, South Dakota Family Policy Council is announcing they will be launching the “Faith, Family, Freedom Bike Tour - Standing for America's First Freedoms ~ Vote your Values”
The ride will cover nearly 500 miles visiting pastors and community leaders, concerned citizens, and churches, October 20 – October 28. It is part of their broader effort to mobilize churches to encourage their membership to Vote Values.
Chris Hupke, President, South Dakota Family Policy Council stated SDFPC is leading the voter awareness campaign that will have him and others bike-riding South Dakota in an effort to implore people to vote values in this upcoming election November 4, 2008. Hupke said there will be a significant emphasis on supporting Initiated Measure 11 – “This is the most important vote I will ever make. Combined with the Presidential, U.S. Senate and House, and State Legislative races, wow. We must vote!”
Hupke, shared Galatians 6:9 as his inspiration in this effort. "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."
Objective: The tour seeks to increase the “Values Voter” Turnout, leading to the highest voter turnout in South Dakota election history.
Each stop will include:
eXcite Church Turnout with the “Pastoral (signing) 100% Churches Pledge”
eQuip - Distributing the SDFPC 2008 General Election Voter Guides http://www.sdfamily.org/
eNgaging - Praise and Worship Rally!!
“The ‘Faith, Family, Freedom Tour’ will reach thousands with an encouraging message for South Dakotans to vote their values.” Hupke stated.
“We’re calling on all South Dakotans to stand for the principles of representative government, and vote. What our Founding Fathers set forth in this great nation is incredible. The United States of America has brought liberty to more people than any other nation in world history. President John Adams said, ‘Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.’ Adams words should sear in the mind of every American of faith their most critical role in keeping America great.”
Hupke said inspiration for the tour was driven from his organization’s desire to see abortion end and to see higher standards of ethics, integrity, and accountability in the institution of government.
“What voters do in the polls says a lot for how they view our country. Every day people vote: the products they buy, the media consumed, the churches they attend, and how they’ll educate their children. If a business does not operate with high ethical standards consumers should not endorse their practices by consuming their products. Selection of elected officials and laws that will govern this state and nation is no different. The vote is the most basic principle of freedom in government and the world saw that with the pictures of ink stained fingers from Iraq and Afghanistan.”
“Let us never forget that government is ourselves and not an alien power over us. The ultimate rulers of our democracy are not a President and senators and congressmen and government officials, but the voters of this country.” Franklin D. Roosevelt
Hupke will be joined by riders of various backgrounds. There is an opportunity for people to join the tour by calling South Dakota Family Policy Council at 605-335-8100.
The communties include: Brookings, Watertown, Milbank, Aberdeen, Huron, Mitchell, Sioux Falls, and Yankton. Details for the times are listed at sdfamily.org or by calling 605-335-8100.

Todd Epp, Buy The Time For The Opponents!
Todd Is A Typical Attorney That Likes To Ask Questions When he Already Knows The Answers!
For Example: "Will KELOLAND Give Equal Time To Pro-Choice Candidates And Opponents Of IM 11?" He Continues..."I’m watching the televised Catholic service on KELOLAND. The priest’s homily is exhorting support of IM 11, the abortion ban measure, and asking Catholics to support anti-choice candidates.I’m wondering if this triggers equal time or fairness doctrine provisions under federal law. I’m also wondering if the Campaign for Healthy Families and pro-choice candidates will get the same sort of access to the largest and most influential broadcaster in South Dakota."
Attorney Todd, The Simple Answer Is, Since The Catholic Diocese Buys The Time From KELOLAND To Promote IM 11, The Opposition To IM 11 Can Also Buy Time From KELOLAND To "Exhort Support" To Defeat IM 11. Just A Suggestion For You, Buy Some Time And Hire The Clergy From "Pastors FROM... I Mean FOR Moral Choices To Articulate Your Opposition." Let Me Know When You Secure Some Time On KELO, I'd Like To Watch!

SIOUX FALLS, SD, (christiansunite.com) -- The ACLU has announced plans to bus in abortion supporters from more liberal states in an attempt to influence the outcome of the vote on Measure 11, a proposed state ban on nearly all abortions. The groups are scheduled to descend upon Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the first weekend in October. In addition, the ACLU has promised to pay all expenses for the out-of-state agitators, including lodging if necessary.

Abortion South Dakota... OBGYN Doctors Hold Press Conference!
Contact: Brandi Gruis, 605-929-7925, Vote Yes for Life
SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota, Oct. 2 /Christian Newswire/ -- A team of South Dakota OBGYN doctors will hold a press conference Friday, October 3 at 1:30 p.m. CST. Physicians who support Measure 11 want to convey the truth about a deceptive TV ad by a pro-abortion activist group. The ad depicts a woman telling her story about her pregnancy with twins. It implies that a procedure resulting in the death of a twin that has "Twin-Twin Transfusion Syndrome" is illegal under Measure 11, which is false.
A team of doctors will appear at the VoteYesForLife.com headquarters at 3500 South Louise Avenue, Sioux Falls, to discuss how treatment is completely covered under Measure 11 (Section 2, Measure 11). Twin-Twin Transfusion Syndrome is a complication that occurs in less than 1 out of 1,000 pregnancies. Today there are modern medical procedures that are used to save the children. Performing those procedures, which are intended to save the lives of the babies, is never prohibited by Measure 11, even if one or both of the babies dies.
The ad placed by the opposition shows a woman who received treatment in Ohio, not South Dakota. The accepted standard of care in our state is covered under Measure 11. Measure 11 will end abortion as a form of birth control, and can stop up to 97 percent of abortions from ever occurring in South Dakota. The measure does provide exceptions in the cases of rape, incest and to preserve the health and life of the mother. For more information, visit VoteYesForLife.com or call Brandi Gruis at 605.929.7925

Bishop Swain Supports Initiative 11
“After prayerful discernment and consultation, I will vote yes on Initiated Measure 11 and encourage others to do so as well," Swain says in the pastoral letter.
Swain expresses some of the same misgivings about the abortion ban as other pro-life advocates who oppose the rape and incest exceptions included in it. But, he says the greater good of banning about 98 percent of the abortions in the state is sufficient to support it.
.
"Current law essentially allows abortion on demand. We have an opportunity to do what we can to 'limit the harm done by such a law,'" Swain explains. "If this law is enacted, over 95 percent of abortions currently performed in South Dakota would be prohibited. And it would send a clear message to abortion providers that the culture of death is not the will of the people of South Dakota."
Bishop Swain also rebuts the objections posed by abortion advocates.
"Abortion advocates oppose this law because they say that it allows government into the private decision-making of individuals," he said.
"If that were the standard there would be few laws. Law by its definition intrudes into the lives of individuals for the common good. What can be more significant for the common good than the right to be born? The unborn have no private decision making freedom," he wrote in the letter.

Thank You Chris And Tiffany Campbell And Your Boys!
No Disrespect Intended, But Thank You Chris And Tiffany Campbell For Referring Properly To The Twins In Your Womb! You Didn't Refer To Them As An Abortionist Would, As Just A Fetus Or Fetuses, Or Just Blobs Of Tissue. Thank You For Addressing Them As Your Boys! They ARE Precious Boys Named: Brady And Brendan Campbell!
Mrs. Campbell Said In The Commercial:
1. "I Was Carrying Identical Twin Boys."
2. "One Boy Was Slowly Dieing..."
3. "24 Hours To Decide If We'd End One Boy's Life To Save The Other"

Dear Campbell Family, You Probably Have Already Realized This But A Healing Thought Occurred To Me As I Tryed To Grasp The Pain Of The Hardest Decision Of Your Life Regarding Your Boys. You Just Have To Agree That The Unfortunate Death Of Brendan Was His Expression Of Love And Gave His Brother Brady, Life! How Christlike, In That, One Of Your Boys Layed Down His Life For His Brother!

Not So Fast Ladies! "Seriously, This Issue Needs To Be Put To Rest"
A fabulous e-mailer (Your Opinion) had the following to say:
"Dakota Values has no idea what they are talking about. Section 2 of Measure 11 is very explicit. Any person who knowingly performs any procedure upon a pregnant woman, or uses any instrument upon a pregnant woman…with the intent of causing the termination of the life of an unborn human being is guilty of performing an illegal abortion. In the case of the Campbells an 18-gauge radio frequency needle was inserted through the abdomen of the mother and targeted the umbilical cord with the specific intent to end the life of the sicker twin. It was an intentional death. Everyone knew what was going to be done in the operating room. Seriously, this issue needs to be put to rest now. The procedure that the Campbells chose with their doctor would be outlawed in South Dakota if IM 11 passed."
THE WAKE UP CALL QUESTIONS: #1. Why Did This "Fabulous E-Mailer" Only Quote From Section 2? Remember I Pointed Out That Section 2, 3, and 4 Of Initiative 11 Were Pertinent To This Discussion. This Fabulous E-Mailer Likes To Pick And Choose In Initiative 11 What Is Favorable To Their Point Of View. #2. Question Number Two Settles How The Law Would Be Adjudicated In The Courts! What Is The Spirit Of The Law??? Answer: To Save Life In The Womb! For This Precious Family, The Campbells, To Say That Initiative 11 Would Have Prevented The Selective Cord Coagulation Procedure To Be Done or This "Fabulous E-Mailer To Say "The procedure that the Campbells chose with their doctor would be outlawed in South Dakota IF IM 11 passed, Is Premature! Just A Reminder To You Ladies As To What The Latest 8th Circuit Court Of Appeals Ruling On Abortion In South Dakota Was??? "An OUCH For You!" (Check This Out With Your Attorney Rather Than The Mysterious "Fabulous E-Mailer"!)
p.s. http://www.dakotawomen.blogspot.com/ I'd Also Like To Hear Your Argument For Not Reporting, Rape And Incest And Reporting The Perpetrator? Just A Hint, Before You Answer! Look At The South Dakota Law Already In Place..."Misprision Of A Felony" 22-11-12. Misprision of felony--Misdemeanor. Any person who, having knowledge, which is not privileged, of the commission of a felony, conceals the felony, or does not immediately disclose the felony, including the name of the perpetrator, if known, and all of the other relevant known facts, to the proper authorities, is guilty of misprision of a felony. Misprision of a felony is a Class 1 misdemeanor. There is no misprision of misdemeanors on petty offenses.

Dakota Values Extends Our Sympathy To The Campbell Family
Pro Choice "Anonymous" Trys To Slam Pro Life "Dakota Values "
DakotaValues, By your previous post, are you suggesting that the Campbell family's situation shouldn't be considered just because it's rare? You wrote, "This Of Course, Is An Extremely Rare Situation Which Occurs In 1 in a very remote number. The Good News Is That Initiative 11 Would NOT Prevent The Procedure, "Selective Cord Coagulation" From Taking Place. Please Also Remember That a "YES" On Initiative 11 Would Save The Lives Of Hundreds Of Healthy, Unborn Babies Who Are Perfectly Normal In The Womb Until An Abortion Is Recklessly Performed On That Healthy Baby!"Are you willing to sacrifice one of your kids because it's a rare condition? Just because it's rare doesn't mean people won't be affected by it and there shouldn't be exceptions for cases like these. I'm just waiting for you to post the Campbell's picture and phone number on your site and tell your 2 readers to make harrassing phone calls to them. Suggesting people intimidate others who don't share your view is not a "Dakota Value". Shame on you and your two-bit blog.

Dakotavalues Responds...
Dear Anonymous, From reading and rereading your post directed towards me... You must think that I'm a really mean, terrible person and have no compassion for the Campbell family. First of all I don't discount their tragedy of losing one of their twins in the least bit. Secondly, not a bad idea to put their picture on the "Dakota Values" Blog although I would ask that people show compassion and pray for this family. Thirdly Anonymous, I have three children, our first died a few weeks before she was to be born from a rare, in utero condition. Didn't know that, did you Anonymous? I am amazed that you dislike me so much and you have never met me or know my life's journey. Our second daughter in utero, was tested (Alpha Theta Protein) and the test indicated that she had Downs Syndrome. The doctor urged us that we abort her. She was born without Downs and a year later to the day that our first daughter was buried. Our third baby, a son, was diagnosed in the womb, with cysts on his kidneys. The doctor also urged us that we should abort him. He was born and had a non functioning kidney removed at 18 months at the University of Minnesota. I'm sure you are happy to know that he is doing great! And about the "2 readers and the shame on you and your two bit blog" jab... just doesn't seem to hurt as much as when I held my dead daughter who died in utero from a rare condition.

Abortion South Dakota - God Bless Dakotawomen.blogspot.com
www.texaschildrens.org/carecenters/FetalSurgery/twin_twin_transfusion_syndrome.aspx#selectivecord
Ned Does Point Out "Selective Cord Coagulation" "In some cases, a couple may make the difficult decision to proceed with the purposeful loss of one twin to save the other twin. This procedure is used when laser ablation of the connecting vessels is not possible or if one of the twins is so close to death that laser ablation would likely not be successful. By stopping the flow in the cord of the dying twin, the other twin can be protected from the consequences of its sibling’s death." Ladies, This Of Course, Is An Extremely Rare Situation Which Occurs In 1 in a very remote number. The Good News Is That Initiative 11 Would NOT Prevent The Procedure, "Selective Cord Coagulation" From Taking Place. Please Also Remember That a "YES" On Initiative 11 Would Save The Lives Of Hundreds Of Healthy, Unborn Babies Who Are Perfectly Normal In The Womb Until An Abortion Is Recklessly Performed On That Healthy Baby!

Abortion South Dakota --"DakotaWomen.Blogspot.Com Please 'Google' Twin To Twin Transfusion Syndrome"
For Your Convenience Take A Look At:
http://www.americanpregnancy.org/multiples/ttts.htm which states...
"What treatment options are available for Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome?
Up until recently twin to twin transfusion syndrome has claimed the life of both babies, but technology has brought about two new treatment options for this condition. The use of amniocentesis to drain off excess fluid appears to improve the blood flow in the placenta and reduce the risk of preterm labor. Amniocentesis can save approximately 60% of affected babies. Laser surgery can also be used to seal off the connection between the blood vessels and appears to save 60% of affected babies. Delivery is also an option if your health care provider determines the twins’ lungs have reached maturity."

P.S. By The Way, I'm The Parent Of A Stillborn Baby Who, Of Course, Died Because Of An In Utero Abnormality Which Took Her Life. We Would Have Tried Any "Modern Medical Procedure" To Save Her! We Know The Pain Of Tiffany Campbell Of Losing One Baby But We Also Share In Her Joy That One Twin Survived!
P.S.S. www.Dakotawomen.blogspot.com , Just A Tip! Don't Be Calling People Names And Making Snide Remarks When You Don't Have All Of The Facts! (And When You Do Have All Of The Fact, Don't Be Calling People Names And Make Snide Remarks!)
We Have To Agree With "Dopera2004" Comments About South Dakota Abortion In The Washington Post!
After the Columbine shootings, "This tragedy is an outrage", cried the public! "These teens were innocent young men, and women who had their whole lives ahead of them." Our nation must shout similar words every time an innocent child becomes a victim of violence through the abortion industry? Our nation must uphold, through its legislation, the belief that all life is sacred, especially the most innocent – the unborn? Our culture currently denies us the fundamental right to life. Such disrespect must be changed!

Training For The U.S. Congress!
The Indian and the Buffalo
An Indian walks into a cafe with a shotgun in one hand pulling a male buffalo with the other. He says to the waiter: 'Want coffee.' The waiter says, 'Sure, Chief. Coming right up.' He gets the Indian a tall mug of coffee. The Indian drinks the coffee down in one gulp, turns and blasts the buffalo with the shotgun, causing parts of the animal to splatter everywhere and then just walks out. The next morning the Indian returns. He has his shotgun in one hand, pulling another male buffalo with the other. He walks up to the counter and says to the waiter 'Want coffee.' The waiter says 'Whoa, Tonto! We're still cleaning up your mess from yesterday. What was all that about, anyway?' The Indian smiles and proudly says .. 'Training for position in United States Congress: Come in, drink coffee, shoot the bull, leave mess for others to clean up, disappear for rest of day!'

South Dakota's Campaign For Unhealthy Families' TV AD - "Fiction, Distortion, Smoke And Mirrors"
Please Watch The Video And Then Read The Fine Print Which The Confusing Video Demands That We Do! You Will See That All Of The Challenges Of This False, Misleading Commercial Are Addressed Satisfactorily In Initiative 11! VOTE YES ON INITIATIVE 11!
http://www.sdhealthyfamilies.org/blog/entry/new_web_video_read_the_fine_print/
THE FINE PRINT TOTALLY NEUTERS THE VIDEO'S MESSAGE!
1. The law that appears on the ballot as Initiated Measure 11 is an extremely well written and well crafted law. The law was drafted by South Dakota Attorney General Larry Long at the request of leaders of the State Legislature. Attorney General Long assembled and presided over a panel of eleven legal experts for the purpose of insuring that the law was well crafted. It was drafted over a period of about eight months.
Any suggestion that the law is anything other than well drafted and well thought out is false and deliberately misleading. The voters of South Dakota can trust their Attorney General.
2. The ad claims that South Dakota “already voted on this.”
This is a false representation.
In 2006, the Legislature passed a law that prohibited abortion, but it did not contain exceptions for rape, incest or the health of the mother. That law was referred to the election in November of 2006 and was voted on.
The 2008 law is totally different and represents what the voting public said they wanted in place of the 2006 law.
In 2006 and again in 2007 and 2008, every poll taken in South Dakota, showed that the vast majority of South Dakota voters (between 58% and 67%) wanted abortion prohibited. But many thought that there should be exceptions for rape, incest and the health of the mother. Although 44% of the voters voted for the 2006 law with no exception, the 2008 Initiated Measure 11 prohibits abortions but incorporates the exceptions for rape, incest and the health of the mother, and represents what the South Dakota voters wanted as their law.
3. The ad implies that a procedure resulting in the death of a twin that has “Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome” is illegal under the law. That claim is not only false, but a shameful exploitation of the mother shown on the ad who lost her child.
Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome is a very rare complication that threatens the life of the babies in utero. However, today there are modern medical procedures that are used to save the children.
If, however, one of the children dies in utero as a result of those medical interventions, the loss of the baby does not violate the law under Initiated Measure 11. The claim that the mother, under the new law, could not have had a procedure to save the life of one or both of those children is totally false.
There is no reason for a doctor to deliberately kill one of the twins in an effort to save one of them, and physicians do not do so as part of accepted standards of medical practice. Under Section 2 of the law, only if the procedure is designed to deliberately and intentionally kill the baby, is it prohibited – unless it is permitted by one of the exceptions. An unintended death is not a violation of the law, and the law permits the procedure even if there is a risk that one or both babies could die from the procedure.
Section 2 specifically requires that the doctor’s act is “with the intent of causing the termination of the life of an unborn human being.” Medical treatment intended to save the lives of the babies is not prohibited. Further, Section 13, paragraph 1 of the law states:
“Medical treatment … that results in the unintentional injury or death of the unborn child is not a violation of this Act.”
It is offensive that the abortion proponents would use this personal tragedy to mislead the public, and it is exploitive of a mother who suffered a tragic loss.
4. The ad says that there is no way for a doctor to “give good advice” and that every case should be judged on an “individual case” basis. The implication is that the law prevents both.
That implication is deliberately misleading. Section 4 of the law specifically preserves the right of a doctor to make “a judgment that an abortion is necessary because there is a serious risk “of injury to a major bodily function of the mother. A doctor is not liable under the law if he performs an abortion to preserve the health of the mother, unless the “physician knowingly disregards accepted standard of medical practice.”
This means that only if the doctor knows good medicine does not require the abortion, is he prohibited from performing the abortion.
5. The ad makes the false claims that the voters can’t know what they are voting on.
The abortion proponents make these false claims because they cannot win a debate about this law if they made candid admissions about its content.
The law simply says that it is illegal to deliberately and intentionally kill an unborn child except in the case of rape, incest, or when the mother’s life is at risk or there is a serious risk to the health of the mother.
Having actors read Section 15 (chapters 187 and 188 etc.”) is intended to create the false impression that the law is difficult to understand. Section 15 is a technical section meant for the courts to let them know that one other law is not repealed.

South Dakotans Abort NARAL, Planned Parenthood And The ACLU!
Outsiders From Washington D.C., New York And Etc., Etc. Are Coming To Straighten Out Our Reproductive Rights Issues! The ACLU Deems It Necessary To Open An Office In Our (To Them...Desolate, Fly Over) State! NARAL, Planned Parenthood And The ACLU Met In Washington D.C. To Plan And Announce What They Were Going To Do About Radical Pro-Life South Dakota! Seems To Me They Could Have Come And Made The Announcement In South Dakota, But Didn't! Most Likely, Heads Of These Organizations Wouldn't Want To Waste Their Time To Even, Let Alone, Find South Dakota On The Map Nor Come To Our Incredible State!
Remember, The Pro-Life South Dakotans Have Now Introduced IM 11 With The Exceptions That Were Asked For By The Planned Parenthood Crowd In 2006 (Rape, Incest and Health Of The Mother). Typically In South Dakota, A Man's Word Is As Good As A Handshake! The Pro-Life Folks Did What Was Asked Of Them With IM 11 But Now The Planned Parenthood Abortion Store And Supporters Have Reneged On Their Word! They Just Can't Be Trusted!
South Dakotans, Stand Up For South Dakota Values, Not Values Conspired By The ACLU, NARAL, And Planned Parenthood!!! These Folks In The Out Of State, Distant Highrise Offices Have A Track Record Of Not Being Trusted! Just As Serious, The Fact Is That They Also Don't Mind If A Defenseless South Dakotan Baby Is Killed In The Womb In The State Of South Dakota!

Main Stream Media Attacks Republican Vice Presidential Nominee Sarah Palin
As Reported By http://www.theapostolicreport.wordpress.com/, The Washington Post Cartoon Makes Fun of Speaking in Tongues12 09 2008
A political cartoon in the September 9th issue of the Washington Post makes fun of Sarah Palin’s Pentecostalism, and all Pentecostals by extension. The blasphemous caricature triptych depicts Sarah Palin on the telephone to God. She speaks unintelligibly as an on-looking McCain remarks: “She’s Pentecostal and speaks in tongues, and only God can understand what she’s saying, but it gives my campaign a direct line to the Almighty.” In the final panel, ’God’ complains to Peter that he can’t understand the politician ’spouting gibberish.’
The cartoon includes an expletive as well.
Pentecostals are encouraged to contact the Washington Post and express their outrage at this profane depiction of speaking in tongues. Click here to see the cartoon.

Lampstand Project, Alternative To South Dakota Abortions
Churches Become Safe Haven for Women Facing Unplanned Pregnancy

SIOUX FALLS, SD, Sept. 9 /Christian Newswire/ -- Church leaders across South Dakota are organizing "The Lampstand Project" to mobilize a coalition of churches who pledge to support women and families facing unplanned pregnancy. The churches want to reach out to those who choose alternatives other than abortion when faced with the difficult decision.
A press conference will be held Wednesday, September 10th at 10 a.m. at the Ramada Airport Center (1301 West Russell). The Lampstand Project hopes to identify and mobilize at least 800 churches in the state that are willing to be a light in their community and encourage women to choose life for their unborn child. The coalition boldly supports Initiated Measure 11, which will be on the ballot November 4th. Measure 11 stops abortion as birth control, preventing up to 97 percent of all abortions in South Dakota.
The Lampstand Project represents the entire spectrum on Christian faith traditions. The group wants to demonstrate love and compassion for women facing an unplanned pregnancy by offering support throughout pregnancy and after the baby is born. Lampstand churches will place emblems in their windows helping women easily identify them as a safe and welcoming place they can go for support.
"We believe it is not enough to just be pro-life and preach a sermon once a year on Sanctity or Respect Life Sunday. Our affirmations go beyond words and include specific actions and commitments to women and unborn children," said Steve Hickey, Pastor at Church of the Gate in Sioux Falls. "Spiritual leaders are stepping up to care for women and children, something the Bible calls 'pure religion.' It is not true South Dakota women only have Planned Parenthood to turn to in a time of crisis. In every remote corner of this state are churches ready to tangibly help provide safe places for women and children, born and unborn." Churches, individuals and businesses can help in many ways, from simply posting a yard sign to volunteering at the VoteYesForLife.com office.
